Cycles of the Womb: Introducing the Series

4 seasons in 4 weeks – 4 part series

“The symbol of the wise woman tradition is a spiral. A spiral is a cycle that moves through time. A spiral is movement around and beyond a cycle, always returning to itself, but never exactly the same place. Spirals remind us that life is movement, that each moment is unique, and that form is the essence of transformation.” Susan S Weed

The cycles of the Womb are a fascinating and magic journey. As every Womb on this planet knows – they have their ups and downs. The cycle of the Womb is always changing and evolving from day to day. Like the seasons of Mother Nature around us, our menstrual cycle mirrors the four seasons;

Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter.

The four phases of the moon synchronise with this teaching. There are also four directions; north, south, east, west. There are four elements; earth, water, fire, air. The Native American Medicine wheel also has four quadrants.

During the next four parts of the series, I invite you to come on a journey through the Womb with me as we explore each of the four phases and how to support ourselves and nourish ourselves during each week. The following information I have accessed after many years of tuning into my own Womb Wisdom- and I encourage you to do the same! By tracking my cycle and listening to what she’s telling me, I have been able to understand myself on a much deeper level. It really is a break through for Womb consciousness on this planet.
